EditReg Prime example why domain names should be free is when someone registers a hypen name. I own lawyerspotlight.com some guy registered lawyer-sotlight.com and is selling ads just like me. Now should economics be a dictate for preventing this type of problem. As a rich person could avoid it while someone poor could not. Also why does an element exsists that says domains should not e so cheap for the mere fact that they can make alot of money. They were intended to be free in an open market. As time went on jealousy turned into law and the concpept I coined called domain fumbling was created. I dont own the name. If domains were free I would register it. So now someone will get credit for my intellectual properties and claim my labor as their own. A sad state. Or what about the. ion1EditRegion Take it from someone who has been registering domains since 1989. The privitization of the Domain industry was the worst thing that could have happended. It started with verisign, network solutions, Icann, and now all of its registrars. The competition is not about selling domains it about the potential those domains have in an alphabetical index. Which explains why google is censoring and chanelling over 80 percent of internet leads to large corporations and hackers. The domain owners are left entirely empty.. Google will refuse to index sites with high paying key words. Parking programs wont pay. Google adsense will ban sites out of its program all because they achieve the objective. I have own legal domains since 1989. And if google would just index my domain names i could make some money and continue on with my life. As it stands if i dont have right. The domain name system is suppose to be real simple. Register the name move on. Not register the name. And oh do you want it next year. And oh do you want it the year after that. The fact remains nobody intends to give up a domain namess so why create so many variables that just contribute to people losing their domain names. and Livelihoods. THe new Gtld is just a sham to censor and get the click in traffic from dot coms. This will put an end to dot coms all together. THe media networks are all over this pushing for it becaue they know they will finally be able to circumvent the .com owners..

EditRegion Get rid of Verisig, Icann and its registrars. Place domain registration, Ip allocation, in the hands of the government. as well as helping businesses monetize the domains they own as it is not the information that is finite it is the domain. Information is unlimited yet the .com domains are not. So why has google been working against domain name owners by not indexing websites. Why is the new Gtld system by icann targetted at monopolizing internet leads via mega .whatever networks

If you want to have an email under your domain name free for the next 90 years contact the ftc and your congressman tell them you dont want to use free emails becaue they advertise to your potential clients. .The government would have to provide these free services like the did in the late eighties when domains were first made available
